Twitter users make horror movies less scary — and are hilarious

If horror movies are something you just can’t stomach, perhaps the Twittersphere can calm your nerves.

#MakeAHorrorFilmLessScary started trending Tuesday and it’s just the diversion we needed in this scary month.

It’s an easy game to play, and the results are just wonderful.

Case in point:

That’s the idea. Just change a word or two, and the whole idea of “fright” goes out the window.

The wormhole just goes on and on and on.

Even the George Romero classic “Night of the Living Dead” gets the treatment.

While several of the tweets ventured into political commentary, the best ones stuck to the idea of turning something horrifying into something silly.
