Northland Public Library helped mark September as “Love Your Library” month with a number of activities to help raise money to operate and improve the facility.

A fall Book Sale from Sept. 27 to 29 offered a way for patrons to stock their home libraries with a wide variety of titles in all genres.

The Jack Buncher Foundation helped boost the fund-raising revenue by offering partial, pro-rated matches for all the funds raised.

In addition to shopping at the book sale, patrons could help support the library by purchasing roses at McCandless Floral, dining at Bonefish Grill in the McCandless Crossing shopping center, stopping by the library to dine at the food trucks set up, and making contributions to the new Learning Garden as well as the library’s foundation.
