Assault, drug cases among recent Monroeville police investigations – Sep. 19, 2019

Monroeville police filed the following charges Sept. 6-16 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:

• Eugene Jones, 20, of Pittsburgh with possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to deliver, burglary and criminal trespass. Charges were filed Sept. 15 in connection with an incident along the 300 block of Trifoil Court.

• Joshua Mance, 30, of Pittsburgh with resisting arrest, harassment and two counts of retail theft. Charges were filed Sept. 13 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of Monroeville Boulevard.

• Jaionna Ptomey, 19, of Wilkinsburg with providing false identification to law enforcement and underage drinking. Charges were filed Sept. 16 in connection with an incident along the 3600 block of William Penn Highway.

• James Oliver, 20, of Columbus, Ohio with retail theft. Charges were filed Sept. 10 in connection with an incident along the 100 block of Mall Circle Drive.

• Kennan Easley, 28, of Penn Hills with turning movements and required signals, carrying a firearm without a license, person not to possess firearms, prohibited text-based communications, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana. Charges were filed Sept. 6 in connection with an incident at Tilbrook Road and Pitcairn Road.

• Edward Hanner, 69, of Pittsburgh with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Sept. 6 in connection with an incident along the 4000 block of Monroeville Boulevard.

• Aaron Bertoluzzi, 55, of Monroeville with simple assault. Charges were filed Sept. 6 in connection with an incident along the 3800 block of William Penn Highway.

• Tyjair Smith, 18, of McKeesport with criminal conspiracy, providing false identification to law enforcement and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed Sept. 6 in connection with an incident along the 200 block of Mall Circle Drive.
