A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday at a McKeesport residence, Allegheny County police reported.

McKeesport paramedics responded about 3:35 p.m. to a report of a woman experiencing shortness of breath in the 1500 block of Versailles Avenue. When they arrived, the woman told them there was a dead body in her garage. The paramedics discovered a man, later identified as Tareef Del Tae McClellan, 22, of McKeesport, in the garage with a gunshot wound to his head.

McClellan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit responded and began an investigation. They said McClellan did not live at the residence but he was known by a person living there.

There were no suspects or motive as of Saturday evening, police said. Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call the Allegheny County Police tip line at 833-255-8477; callers can remain anonymous. The department can also be reached via its social media sites.
