Area workers and others taking a lunch break in downtown Greensburg do not have to head indoors if they are dining at Caffe Barista.

The Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s partnership with the restaurant, at 7 W. Otterman St., has led to Caffe Barista offering patrons the option of purchasing their lunch at the cafe, then heading back outdoors to dine al fresco in the Palace Theatre’s S&T Bank Courtyard.

“Our continued partnership with Westmoreland Cultural Trust has grown to a new level with the expansion of outdoor seating available to our customers. We have definitely seen a rise in interest and customer engagement with an expanded summer menu and seating,“ says Lisa Hegedus, Caffe Barista owner.

“There are not many outdoor dining options downtown. This partnership is a great way to encourage the community to step outside for a little extra Vitamin D,” adds Kelli Brisbane, Westmoreland Cultural Trust director of corporate engagement and events.

The courtyard is open 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until the end of August, with the exception of show days and inclement weather.
