In an effort to raise funds for trips next year, two area Girl Scout troops will have stations at Ligonier Country Market this summer, says Cari Frei, market manager.

Ligonier Girl Scout Troop 46136 will sell girl-made specialty gummy bears, including vegan and sugar-free. The troop is raising money to attend the 2020 national Girl Scout Convention.

Ligonier Girl Scout Troop 90003 will host a make-and-take slime station where kids visiting the market can create their own unique slime. The troop plans to use the funds they raise to attend a troop horse camp next year.

Both troops will be on-site at the market at various dates throughout the summer, beginning May 25.

”We are honored to be able to sponsor these girls and provide them with a real life experience in order to earn the funds needed for their trips,” Frei says.
