A Wexford man died after he crashed his motorcycle on the Parkway North early Thursday.
He was identified as Douglas J. Regrut, 28, by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash was reported just before 1 a.m. at mile marker 12.7 in Franklin Park.
State police at the Moon barracks said Regrut was driving north, approaching the junction of I-79 northbound when he lost control of the motorcycle and drove off the road.
Regrut was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
