The North Hills Home Brew Fest is back for a third year, with a new location.

This year’s event will begin at 5 p.m. May 11 at the Pittsburgh Shrine Center, 1877 Shriners Way, Cheswick.

The evening will include home-brewed beers, food trucks, prize raffles and fun activities.

Those attending can sample and vote on dozens of brews. The winning brew will be brewed and tapped at Penn Brewery, organizers say.

Vagabond Taco Truck and Oakmont Barbecue Co. are scheduled to attend.

First Sip Brew Box and Yinz Brewing will host a live podcast.

Designated drivers and non-drinking guests can enjoy a “Painting with a Twist” two-hour painting class beginning at 6:30 p.m. for $30.

The event is a fund raiser for Pittsburgh’s Syria Shriners, who provide many services for youth within local communities.

Tickets range from $25 to $35 at tickettailor.com

Deadline for home brewers interested in participating is May 9.
