Dozens of people braved the rain and cold weather Sunday morning to attend the annual sunrise Easter service on Pittsburgh’s North Side, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported.

This is the 85th year for the interdenominational event held at Allegheny Observatory in Riverview Park.

The service started at 6:30 a.m. with people turning out with lawn chairs and blankets.

The Rev. Rick Weiss from Emmanuel Christian Church was the speaker this year.
