Pink will be the color of the day on April 27, as the Latrobe Art Center hosts “The Art of Fashion: Pretty in Pink” at the Latrobe Country Club.
Seven area boutiques will participate in a fashion show, including: The Black Bunny Boutique in Ligonier; Chicora’s Boutique in Latrobe; Crossroads Boutique & Cattiva in Greensburg; Lapels, A Fine Men’s Clothier in Greensburg; Liz Krajc Jewelry Design Studio in Greensburg; My Honey Bee in Ligonier; and Tree House in Ligonier.
Local residents will model fashions for women, men, and children. Participating boutiques also will provide shopping selections for guests. Runway features will include upcycled and tie-dyed fashions created by Greater Latrobe Senior High School students from Courtney Coss’s family and consumer science and Lydia Mack’s art classes.
Guests are invited to color coordinate their own wardrobes to match the “Pretty in Pink” theme. The event is set 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Lunch options are chicken picatta, gluten-free or vegetarian options and dessert. A cash bar will serve pink-themed cocktails.
Tickets are $50, $75 at the patron level. Proceeds will support the mission of Latrobe Art Center. Reservations are required by April 22.
