An alleged Pittsburgh street gang member pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Pittsburgh to one count of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.
Brett Rodgers, 32, of Pittsburgh, entered the plea before Senior U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.
Prosecutors told the court that, in 2017, FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration agents started to wiretap the Greenway Boy Killas, also known as GBK, street gang in Pittsburgh’s West End.
The wiretap revealed that, from November 2017 through June 2018, Rodgers conspired to distribute 28 grams — about 10 ounces — or more of crack cocaine.
Schwab scheduled sentencing for July 9.
He initially pleaded not guilty to three charges but, in plea deal, changed his plea to guilty of one charge only.
The court ordered that Rodgers be kept in jail until sentencing.
