A Beaver Falls man pleaded guilty in federal court to robbing a New Brighton bank last year.
U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady said Ernest Dewayne Taylor, 50, pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery before United States District Judge Joy Flowers Conti.
According to Brady, Taylor robbed the Huntington Bank at 921 3rd Ave. on August 17, making off with $600.
The FBI at the time of the robbery said the robber handed a note to the teller demanding money and left the bank on foot. No one was injured.
His sentencing is set for July 17. He faces a sentence of not more than 20 years in prison and a fine of not more than $250,000.
