The Steelers added depth to their 90-man roster Friday by signing linebacker Robert Spillane and running back Malik Williams to contracts.

Williams, 22, spent the 2018 training camp with the Atlanta Falcons and was waived/injured with a shoulder injury on Sept. 1. Williams spent his final two college seasons at Louisville and went undrafted.

Spillane, 23, signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. He began the season on the practice squad and was promoted to the active roster for two games before being waived on Oct. 29.

Spillane, 6-foot-1, 229 pounds, spent four years at Western Michigan and had 312 career tackles and 10 sacks.
